Japan likely to probe Toshiba memory-chip deal for security concerns if buyer is foreign

This comes at a time when the government is planning to amend Japan's foreign exchange control law to curb the outflow of sensitive technology from the country. Toshiba would have to consider this possibility in addition to how the competition regulator would view the deal, MLex has learned....
