Norwegian Supreme Court upholds fine against construction company NCC

( November 30, 2015, 11:35 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The appeals committee of the Norwegian supreme court has confirmed a lower court’s ruling against construction group NCC and its road-building subsidiary NCC Roads, which had challenged a fine for the companies’ participation in an asphalt cartel. The decision means that the 150 million kroner ($17.2 million) fine for bid-rigging remains in place. The decision cannot be appealed further....
