Should the FCC decide to approve the spectrum sale, the senator urges the agency to "require appropriate divestitures where needed to prevent Verizon Wireless from gaining excessive levels of spectrum concentration," and "in order to avoid the creation of a duopoly among large spectrum holders, I urge your agencies to consider excluding AT&T from eligibility to purchase any spectrum divested." He also raises concerns over the proposed marketing agreements because Verizon and the cable companies are currently fierce competitors where Verizon offers internet and phone service....
