Dutch thrift store association gets clearance for cooperation plan

( June 9, 2026, 14:35 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Kringloop Nederland, a trade association representing thrift stores, can introduce standard terms and conditions for negotiations with companies in the textile sector over collection and sorting, the Autoriteit Consument & Markt has said. The ACM said Kringloop’s knowledge and experience would help thrift stores, which are usually small companies without resources and legal knowledge, and so are often hindered in negotiations with larger companies. The authority found the initiative would contribute to sustainability in the textile sector.Statement follows....
