US FTC commissioners won't be disqualified from PBM suit, agency says

( January 15, 2025, 22:54 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan and commissioners Alvaro Bedoya and Rebecca Kelly Slaughter will not be disqualified from participating in a lawsuit against major pharmacy benefit managers and their associated group purchasing organizations. The agency found that Federal Ethics Regulations and the Judicial Code do not provide a basis to disqualify the commissioners, according to orders filed by the FTC. Each commissioner facing disqualification did not participate in the decisions affecting their participation in the case, and commissioners and Andrew Ferguson and Melissa Holyoak recused themselves.See attached files....
